
Manda Factor to Join Charlie Harger as New Co-Host of Seattle’s Morning News on KIRO Newsradio

SEATTLE, WA – April 7th, 2025 – KIRO Newsradio is proud to announce the addition of Manda Factor, a distinguished journalist with 35 years of experience, as the new co-host of Seattle’s Morning News. Manda will join Charlie Harger, who recently assumed the role of host in January, bringing her expertise, engaging style, and passion for storytelling to the station’s flagship morning program.

Having grown up in Olympia, Manda possesses a profound connection to the Puget Sound area and is excited to contribute to the area’s top-rated morning news program.

Her academic journey through the University of Washington and Washington State University laid a solid foundation for a career characterized by curiosity, hard work, and a deep love for storytelling.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Manda enjoys a rich personal life with her husband, a busy teenager, and two adult children who are pursuing their own dreams. She is also a devoted dog lover, sharing her home with a tiny Terrier named Frederick and a large Plott Hound named Kermit, who she affectionately says “run the house.” In her spare time, Manda enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and cheering for Seattle’s sports teams, from football to baseball to hockey.
